What a summer it’s been here at Style Source. First, we donated dye to the Make-a-Wish Foundation to make a young girl’s dream of riding a blue horse come true. Then, we traveled around the world from Dallas,Texas for our annual RUSK Armstrong event to China for a Global Strategy meeting, and we had many charity events and we will continue to attend and contribute to these causes in the future.
Working hard and traveling far enables you to meet some of the worlds most interesting people – people that come across as any regular Joe, but have seen the world through and through. I’d like to make mention of these hard-working, inspiring individuals, who know what it’s like to sleep on the floor of a hut in a third world country,  but also know the luxury of sleeping in the presidential suite of the Four Seasons Hotel.These people inspire us to be better at our jobs, with our families and in our day-to-day tasks.This is why we have chosen Angelina Jolie for our cover girl this issue. She is a humanitarian with a successful career and family, she is involved with numerous charities in and out of the United States. Angelina Jolie is a beautiful person, both inside and out and it is an honor to have her grace our cover.
I would like to congratulate a good friend, John Heffner, President and CEO of Creative Nail Design, for receiving this year’s City of Hope’s “Spirit of Life”Award. He is truly a worthy recipient.
I’d also like to take this time to send out the most sincere condolences to a dear friend and colleague, John Leone of Exclusive Beauty Supplies in Florida, and his family. John’s daughter Johnna was killed in a car accident last month and we want the Leone family to know that everyone here at Style Source’s thoughts and prayers are with them. It is through these tragic times that inner strength and the love from family and friends shines through.With that, we want you to enjoy the rest of your summer, relax, unwind, spend time with your family and friends and donate to charity. Any charity you want just but make sure to give back to this beautiful world and what it has given to you.
