Here we are again, putting away our summer things and preparing for the winter months. Although fun in the sun is at an end, the beauty of fall is enticingly sweet.

With all the new trends in hair and fashion, this 2009 fall season promises to be inspirational for all.

First off, all of us here at Conair Professional and Style Source Media would like to congratulate all of the 2009 NAHA winners. We are so proud of you and your exceptional work. It's truly an inspiration to see such talent flowing throughout the industry.

I had the pleasure of sitting-down with Richard St. Laurent after he won the 2009 NAHA Hairstylist of the Year to find out all about the experience.

I would also like to take this opportunity to encourage you all to consider becoming members of The Professional Beauty Association and the PBA/NCA merge. Through the PBA, you'll have industry connections to help you build your business and your career. It's a multitude of beauty industry resources at your fingertips that we need to grow.

Finally, we would like to remind you all that October was Breast Cancer Awareness month. Let's band together and help bring a stop to this devastating disease.
