Although well-known among hair stylists as the master of the updo, Martin Parsons designs a formal look not to showcase his own artistry but to help the woman express her beauty while elevating the level of celebration.
“When some of the guests show up at a party with their hair dressed, they make the party!” Parsons observes. Putting their hair up or back gives these ladies a look that’s distinctly different from their everyday appearance. Martin’s trio of looks in this collection illustrates examples of dressing hair that’s medium-length or longer. His advice to every woman with a party invitation clipped to her datebook: “Slip into the salon that afternoon, asks your stylist to put up your hair, bring some friends with you and you’ll all look fabulous!”
