Still Celebrating!
BaBylissPro takes its global 50th anniversary party to sunny Mexico!
As an official sponsor of the three-day Expo Beauty Show 2011, the largest international exhibition of the Latin American beauty industry, BaBylissPro wasted no time in inviting show attendees to share in the company’s year-long celebration marking 50 years as an avant-garde leader in product innovation. To enter the show’s main hall, attendees passed through a tunnel showcasing four platforms, each dedicated to the history of a BaByliss decade.
On the main floor, the BaBylissPro exhibit booth offered ongoing demonstrations as well as product sales. In addition, BaBylissPro held a private party, where BaByliss Mexico Commercial Director Miguel Mizrahi delivered the welcoming speech to open the festivities. Lee Rizzuto, Jr., Conair’s senior vice president, Global Professional, followed with personal, heartfelt thoughts about the company’s half-century impact on the industry. The party concluded with entertainment provided by Mexican humorist and musician Andreas Zanneti.

ON THE SAN JUAN STAGE
It was a busy show in San Juan, Puerto Rico, where Rusk and BaBylissPro presented the Global Inspiration Collection to an enthusiastic group of hair professionals. Members of the Rusk Creative Team were joined by Rusk’s
local team of educators to demonstrate the collection’s fusion of fashion,
finance and culture spanning the influence of three alpha cities—Tokyo, Barcelona and New York City. The artists used Rusk’s Designer series of hair care and styling products along with the BaBylissPro Volaré and Rusk CTC 7500 dryers.

EASTERN EUROPE EXTRAVAGANZA
Rusk’s Don Wyatt launches the Rusk brand in Lithuania and performs in Poland. Hair pros in Lithuania stepped up to learn the Rusk methods of hair cutting when the brand was introduced into the country recently with the help of distributor SugiharaPro. Canadian Artistic Director Don Wyatt led the show. Next on the tour’s agenda was Gliwice, Poland, where Agnieska Nowik-Lazowska and her team—Hania Jurkiewicz and Kamila Lewandowska— conducted the education. Don Wyatt joined the team again in Wroclaw, Poland. The EU team expresses thanks to Rusk’s EU partners and hosts, the Creative Team, the artistic directors and, especially, to Don Wyatt and host and translator Agnes Niemiec.
“We presented fresh, new Rusk artistry against classic, stylist Polish scenery. The Rusk family is growing very fast!”
— Rusk Polish Team Director Agnieska Nowik-Lazowska
