Small to Medium round barrel brushes are more manageable for shorter hair and can provide more texture. You can achieve volume and curl with this size of brush by starting at the roots and lifting the hair in an upward, curling motion. There are many types of Cushion Paddle Brushes, but our Tourmaline Collection features two different sizes: a square cushion paddle brush and an oval cushion paddle brush. The Square Cushion Paddle Brush is larger and flatter than the Oval Cushion Paddle Brush and is ideal for full or long hair. The Oval Cushion Paddle Brush can also be used for full, long hair, but is best compatible with medium to short hair.

Simply angle the brush to the scalp at a 90-degree angle and point the barrel of the dryer where the brush meets the scalp (point the dryer away from the scalp).
