Fall’s Here
Fall has always been my favorite season.The crisp weather, and the upcoming holidays always puts me in the right frame of mind, reminding me that family and friends are of the utmost importance.
In this issue, we take a look at some of fall's hottest runway looks. Ladies, watch out for some great bold prints this season. For all you style-conscious men, this season gives you license to sport almost any hairstyle, no matter the length or texture.
Our cover girl, Beyoncé has just released her sophomore album, B’Day, and will no doubt to number one. The 25-year-old style icon and entrepreneur is seen as a role model for women and girls the world over.
And, last but not least, I want to take this opportunity to address the changing climate in the industry. As manufacturers and distributors continue to merge, some distributors have begun to feel uneasy. What were once very clear cut responsibilities are no longer apparent, as manufacturers become distributors and consumer companies enter what was once the salon sector. This is dangerous territory, as we all know that in the wrong hands, professional products can severely damage a consumers’ hair.
Our own distribution platform is large and is focused on independent salons that are family owned entrepreneur businesses that have built our lines to what they are today. Be sure that we will continue to monitor this situation and keep you, our loyal salon clients and consumers, well informed of changes in our industry.
